Terms of Service

Last updated: November 3, 2026. These terms govern use of Returns Performance (returnsperformance.com). By using the site, you agree to them. This page is a starting draft for a real business — have a lawyer review it before public launch.

1. What Returns Performance does

Returns Performance provides brand-authorized returns stress testing. Brands hire us to test whether their fulfillment partners are catching bad returns, approving the right refunds, and handling merchandise correctly. Everyday testers buy specific items, file returns as instructed, and mail the goods to our team, who verify them and return them to the brand. We then report the results to the brand.

2. Brand authorization

Every test must be authorized by the brand that owns the products being tested. The person creating an offer attests that the brand has authorized the test, that the brand owns the products, and that test goods will be returned to the brand. We do not provide a tool for deceptive returns to non-consenting retailers, and any offer that is not brand-authorized may be removed.

3. Tester obligations

4. Payouts

Payouts are manual and admin-approved. A payout becomes payable only after goods are verified and a warehouse result is recorded: the full offer payout if the warehouse misses the return, $10 if the warehouse catches it. Manual payouts are made by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App, using the details you provide for your claim: PayPal — email or phone number; Venmo — phone number; Zelle — email or phone number; Cash App — $tag (username). You are responsible for giving correct payout details; payouts sent to incorrect details you provided may not be recoverable. Payout timing depends on verification, warehouse processing, and the payment provider. Stripe Connect, if added later, will be governed by Stripe's own terms as well as these terms.

5. Accounts

Accounts are by invitation in this version — there is no public signup. You are responsible for keeping your login private. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, files false returns, or misuses the platform.

6. Brand reports

Reports are provided to the hiring brand for its own use in improving its returns process. Reports are based on the tests run; they are observations of specific test returns, not a guarantee about every return a warehouse handles.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Returns Performance is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and will post the updated version here. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms. Contact us through the brand inquiry form on the homepage or through your dashboard messages.

Governing law: the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, are intended to apply — confirm this with your lawyer before launch, especially if you operate in other states or countries.
